19th WORKSHOP OF THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PHYTOPLANKTON TAXONOMY AND ECOLOGY (IAP)

Tiszafüred, Hungary, Tisza Balneum Hotel****

23 -30 September 2022

Invitation

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to announce that the 19th International Association for Phytoplankton Taxonomy and Ecology (IAP) workshop will be held in Hungary from 23 to 30 September 2022. Due to the COVID pandemic the meeting had to be cancelled in 2020 and 2021, but given all the positive news on COVID trends and increasing vaccination rates across the world, we can welcome you in Hungary to participate at the workshop this year. Hungary hosted this workshop in 1991, and we are looking forward to hosting you again, in Tiszafüred, a small town by Lake Tisza, the largest artificial-seminatural wetland complex in Hungary.

On behalf of our Local Committee, we would like to make the 19th IAP meeting another memorable event. In addition to the learning opportunities we also offer a destination with many possibilities of active recreation.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

See you in Hungary,

Gábor Borics
